"Wayne Malleau is influenced by Japanese culture. Creating quality hand made bonsai and orchid pots, fine wares and one of a kind works of art. He draws inspiration from the basic elements of earth, water and air. He is motivated to create works with proportion and balance.
Wayne's works are an exploration of his imagination and values. He loves objects with meaning that weave into our daily lives. He feels pottery decorates our living spaces with character and elegance. He believes pottery is a celebration and a reflection of ourselves. Whether he is forming a vase that becomes a focal point of the room or creating dinnerware that celebrates a happy meal, or even practicing In the traditions of ancient hand-building techniques. and all its own complexity and abstractness to share a quiet moment In the day.
