I’m an Ontario Oil Painter with a Mystical Impressionist Style. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects using oil and acrylics. My passion is the landscape of Northern Ontario, and I strive to reflect the mesmerizing beauty of Manitoulin Island’s 108 lakes, Lilly swamps, magnificent boulders, secret forests and 360’ encompassing skies. All just waiting to land on my canvas.

I began painting on a part-time basis in 2015, taking workshops and classes at DVSA and The Oakville Art Society. Influences have come from Susan Outlaw’s fantastic ability to teach and from Jody Joseph’s addictive enthusiasm as an artist. I’m also influenced by the Group of Seven, especially the works of Tom Thomson for his vibrant capture of the untamed north.
