"Having been born in Scotland and lived there into my 30's that is the place I know and love to paint. All the Thistles, Celtic knots and the Breath taking Highland landscapes. But now I have lived here longer than I did in Scotland so needless to say the rugged beauty of Manitoulin island and Northern Ontario is displayed more and more in my work."
