The first 2013 MFAA meeting will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00PM.
As usual, it will be at the Cafe in the Woods Chalet.
Coffee will be provided and any Volunteers who would like to bring something to munch on will get special consideration.

The Perivale Gallery in Spring Bay (Manitoulin Island) Presents:
"Drawing on the Positive in Negative Spaces" with Carenie Little -- March 20, 21, 22
It's almost Spring! The sap is running! Let's get our artistic flow going!
Celebrate Spring by developing and enhancing your drawing skills in pencil, pen and ink and watercolour pencil for all levels.
Learn to draw differently, less complications and worry free.
Negative space drawing can help you see around your chosen shapes.
Pen and Ink techniques can enhance your backgrounds & foregrounds.
Watercolour pencils can give your work “LIFE".
Sessions will be held at the Spring Bay Community Hall 9:30 - 3:30. The cost is $145

This course will serve as an excellent foundation for four future workshops in June, July, August and September that will continue the artistic journey into acrylic, watercolour and oils.

How to Add a Facebook Organization to your News Feed
Step 1 – go to to Facebook and log in to your account.
Step 2 -- Type the name of the organization (Manitoulin Fine Arts Association) in the "Search" bar at the top of the page and press "Enter" or enter http://www.facebook.com/ManitoulinFineArts
Step 3 -- Locate the organization from the search results and click on its display picture.
Step 4 -- Click the "Like" button next to the organization's name at the top of page.
Step 5 – you are now “friends” with the MFAA!
